When it comes to a passion for real estate, Kim is renowned for his unwavering commitment and his unyielding motivation to succeed. He is a graduate of the University of Tasmania and The Australian Maritime College and has been an industry leader for over nineteen years, most of which has been spent as one of Hobart’s top property consultants, and a Peterswald director since the company opened its doors in 2004. He has held senior board positions with the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania, has achieved numerous record sale prices in Tasmania, has received multiple salesperson of the year awards, been recognised in national auctioneering competitions and has spoken at a number of national seminars and conferences.
Kim has a reputation of being somewhat of a ‘workaholic’ on behalf of his clients and is often found working until late, ensuring that his clients are provided with the highest level of service. His secret to success is simple: old fashioned loyalty, hard work, honesty and integrity. Whilst Kim has considerable experience in selling commercial properties, he specialises in residential sales and is committed to not only achieving the highest price, but also to offering expert advice and outstanding customer service in the process.
Kim’s skills and experience are best seen around the negotiating table where his ability to lead the negotiation in the direction he requires ensures that his vendors always get the best possible outcome. He is extremely familiar with the local property market and has literally been involved in the sale of thousands of properties during his career, including both the lower and upper end. Kim is committed to the same high level of professionalism and attention to detail, regardless of the type of property or price range.
Kim was raised in the suburbs surrounding the Hobart CBD and now lives in South Hobart with his wife and four children. He is a competitive oarsman and cyclist and with his family enjoys bush walking, boating, sailing and the myriad other pursuits that come with a busy life. He is a member of the Derwent Sailing Squadron and the Tasmanian Club.
